Academy of St. Joseph is housed in a recently restored building adjacent to a designated New York City Landmark, University Parish Church of St. Joseph on 6th Avenue, one block West of Washington Square.

The school is located near the W 4th Street station (A, C, E, B, D, F, and M trains), a block away from Christopher Street-Sheridan Square station (1 train) and two blocks away from the 9th Street PATH station.
